I can’t believe I’m writing this, but yes, I have in fact moved to Evergreen Colorado. Another beautiful mountain town just in the foothills of Denver. A decision we did NOT take lightly at all. My husbands job was relocated and because he loves his job with Smartwool, we made the hard decision to move from Steamboat Springs. We have called Steamboat our home for the last 12 years and were so sad to leave. We are still in transition as we live in temp housing and remodel a 1970’s mountain home, but we are making the best of it. Discovering our new town, being 10 minutes from a Target!!! WOOT WOOT! hahaha (it’s been a LONG time since I lived anywhere near a Target).
Many conversations we have of why would we move during a pandemic or why would we give up the gorgeous mountains of Steamboat Springs? Well, again, this decision wasn’t made lightly, but we also know that God opened doors for us to move here and we know our family….we know that the kids are going to do great wherever they are….my business will continue where I am located and again….we are close to a Target. ;)
I am still doing a lot of work still in Steamboat Springs as I am only 2.5 hours away and will be making the trip up several times before the year ends. I just had my FIRST Evergreen shoot last night and couldn’t be more excited to explore the many areas to shoot at in Evergreen. What a crazy time for all of us, right? But, we are thrilled to see what the Lord will do through us here in this community and the people we are excited to meet!!! Oh the people!!! Evergreen so far does NOT disappoint. Everyone has been so kind so far and we are extremely grateful!
